The Northern Wave

The Peruvian north coast is not only known for its hot climate, its beautiful beaches and delicious food; but also for the sound of the famous 'Cumbia Norteña'. Back in the seventies and eighties, Peru witnessed the awakening of the so-called 'Northern Wave'. With Infopesa, they achieved great success in their homeland and would later manage to consecrate throughout the country. It’s hot, it’s vibrant, it’s the perfect vibe for the party!

We had the chance to work with Infopesa to illustrate this beautiful compilation. We wanted to translate the meeting of the ocean and the coast, creating this extraordinary vibe, energy and music. It’s time to dance!
